Still Running Through Pain — and Getting Nowhere?
Cookie-Cutter Care That Misses the Real Problem
Traditional PT clinics rush you through 20-minute slots shared with two other patients. No one looks at how you actually run — so the underlying cause of your injury never gets addressed.
Setbacks That Steal Races, Seasons, and Confidence
Every flare-up means more time off, more lost training, and the nagging fear that you'll never get back to the performance level you know you're capable of reaching.
No Clear Path from Hurt to High Performance
Pain-free is not the finish line — but most clinics treat it like it is. Without a bridge from rehab to real training, you're back to square one the moment you push hard again.

"I walked in a few months ago with a cane, barely getting from the car to the door, unable to stand up straight. Now I walk without a cane, and I can stand straight without difficulty. After seeing Dr. Dan, I'm not sure I'd want to go anywhere else."

Meet the Team Behind Resolve Physical Therapy and Performance
Dr. Dan’s Story
I became a Physical Therapist so I could help people feel better, get back to sports after sustaining an injury, and fully participate in the activities they love.
As a high school and college athlete, I dealt with my fair share of injuries. During my junior year of college I found it difficult to participate in track and field due to pain. Though I spent a good amount of time in the training room receiving rehab, no real improvements were made and I unfortunately had to hang up my spikes sooner than I would have liked. I knew there had to be a better way.
After graduating from PT school, I worked in a variety of settings and with a wide variety of clients. I quickly realized that this profession has a huge opportunity to truly change people's lives, more than just returning them to sports, yet the healthcare system was not set up with the client’s best interest in mind.
This is why my wife Amanda and I created Resolve PT and Performance. To break the mold and provide a higher level of care to athletes, weekend worriers, and busy professionals who are constantly trying to balance work, life and fitness. We’re here for you.
I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University, Bachelors in Athletic Training from Springfield College, and am a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist.
Credentials
During my graduate studies I spent time rehabbing football athletes at the University of Georgia and worked as a per diem athletic trainer at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’ve taken my knowledge and experience from working with athletes in Division 1 and professional sports, as well as frameworks from the Postural Restoration Institute, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Dry Needling courses, and the Titleist Performance Institute to create individualized action plans THAT CHANGE AND IMPROVE LIVES.
Amanda’s Story
For as long as I can remember, movement has always been an important part of my life. I fell in love with dance at an early age and spent countless hours taking class, rehearsing, and performing. For me, dance provided exercise, an escape from everyday life, connection, and joy.
Now a mom of two young and active kids, movement looks a bit different these days. Our family enjoys dance parties in the kitchen, going on “scooter walks” and bike rides around the neighborhood, and trying out multiple sports and activities in order to figure out which ones the kiddos enjoy.
Though an educator by trade, I am really excited to partner with with Dan and help our community feel strong, empowered, and ready to fully participate in any activity they choose. Here at Resolve, you can find me working behind the scenes, greeting at the front desk, and strategizing how we can help as many people as possible live a pain free and active life. Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about getting started with running physical therapy in Cherry Hill — from your first call to your first run back.
Do I need a referral to start?
No. New Jersey is a Direct Access state, which means you can begin physical therapy at Resolve without a physician's referral. You can call us directly or book a free discovery call to get started.
How long are sessions?
Your initial evaluation is 75–90 minutes — a comprehensive deep-dive into your injury history, movement, and goals. All follow-up visits are a full 60 minutes of uninterrupted 1-on-1 time with Dr. Dan.
Do you accept insurance?
Resolve PT is out-of-network by design, so insurance companies don't dictate your care. We provide superbills that you can submit to your PPO insurer for possible reimbursement. We're happy to discuss transparent, flexible options on your free discovery call.
What is the Resolve to Run assessment?
It's a 75–90 minute in-person runner's evaluation covering your running history, a head-to-toe strength and mobility screen, video running gait analysis from multiple angles, and VALD load-tolerance testing. You'll leave with a written plan including training load recommendations and priority exercises.
Will I always work with Dr. Dan?
Yes. Every session — from your first evaluation to your final follow-up — is 1-on-1 with Dr. Dan Linick. No aides, no shared slots, no handoffs.
What is the Resolve App?
The Resolve App delivers your personalized daily exercise program directly to your phone, complete with instructional videos, reminders, and direct messaging access to Dr. Dan between sessions — so your rehab stays on track every day, not just on appointment days.
