Still Running Through Pain — Or Afraid To?
The Injury Cycle Keeps Repeating
You take time off, feel better, ramp back up — and the same knee, hip, or foot problem comes back. Without knowing the root cause in your gait or mechanics, nothing truly changes.
Generic Advice Isn't Enough
Foam rolling, stretching, and a new pair of shoes only go so far. If your movement patterns are the problem, surface-level fixes just delay the inevitable next breakdown.
You're Leaving Performance on the Table
Inefficient running form doesn't just cause pain — it costs you speed, endurance, and energy. Without objective data, you're training hard without knowing what's actually holding you back.
Why Cherry Hill Runners Choose Resolve PT
At Resolve, your running gait analysis in Cherry Hill NJ isn't a quick video clip and a printout — it's a comprehensive, individualized assessment led by Dr. Dan Linick, a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist with hands-on experience rehabbing competitive athletes. You'll leave with real data, real answers, and a personalized action plan.
Multi-angle video gait analysis + VALD/Force Plate strength testing to identify side-to-side gaps and mechanical limiters
Private, one-on-one sessions with Dr. Dan — no techs, no double-booking, no cookie-cutter programs
Results translated into a personalized strength, mobility, and running plan delivered through the Resolve App
Dan spent time getting to know her, then took her through a battery of assessments looking at her mobility, performance, and running gait. He talked us both through the results so we understood her strengths and the opportunities to make her more efficient. As a parent, I really appreciate how Dan wasn't rushed and treated her as an individual.

Dr. Dan’s Story
I became a Physical Therapist so I could help people feel better, get back to sports after sustaining an injury, and fully participate in the activities they love.
As a high school and college athlete, I dealt with my fair share of injuries. During my junior year of college I found it difficult to participate in track and field due to pain. Though I spent a good amount of time in the training room receiving rehab, no real improvements were made and I unfortunately had to hang up my spikes sooner than I would have liked. I knew there had to be a better way.
After graduating from PT school, I worked in a variety of settings and with a wide variety of clients. I quickly realized that this profession has a huge opportunity to truly change people's lives, more than just returning them to sports, yet the healthcare system was not set up with the client’s best interest in mind.
This is why my wife Amanda and I created Resolve PT and Performance. To break the mold and provide a higher level of care to athletes, weekend worriers, and busy professionals who are constantly trying to balance work, life and fitness. We’re here for you.
I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University, Bachelors in Athletic Training from Springfield College, and am a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist.
Credentials
During my graduate studies I spent time rehabbing football athletes at the University of Georgia and worked as a per diem athletic trainer at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’ve taken my knowledge and experience from working with athletes in Division 1 and professional sports, as well as frameworks from the Postural Restoration Institute, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Dry Needling courses, and the Titleist Performance Institute to create individualized action plans THAT CHANGE AND IMPROVE LIVES.
Amanda’s Story
For as long as I can remember, movement has always been an important part of my life. I fell in love with dance at an early age and spent countless hours taking class, rehearsing, and performing. For me, dance provided exercise, an escape from everyday life, connection, and joy.
Now a mom of two young and active kids, movement looks a bit different these days. Our family enjoys dance parties in the kitchen, going on “scooter walks” and bike rides around the neighborhood, and trying out multiple sports and activities in order to figure out which ones the kiddos enjoy.
Though an educator by trade, I am really excited to partner with with Dan and help our community feel strong, empowered, and ready to fully participate in any activity they choose. Here at Resolve, you can find me working behind the scenes, greeting at the front desk, and strategizing how we can help as many people as possible live a pain free and active life. Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Common Questions
Everything you need to know before booking your running gait analysis near Cherry Hill — straight answers, no jargon.
What exactly is a running gait analysis and what does it include?
Our running gait analysis in Cherry Hill NJ is a comprehensive, data-driven assessment — not a quick video clip. Dr. Dan uses multi-angle video analysis to evaluate your running form and biomechanics at various speeds, including under fatigue. This is paired with VALD/Force Plate strength testing to identify side-to-side imbalances and mobility or strength limiters. You'll receive a full debrief of your results and a personalized program to address what was found.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book?
No. New Jersey is a Direct Access state, which means you can schedule directly with Dr. Dan without a physician referral or prescription. Just contact us and we'll get you started.
Do you accept insurance?
Resolve operates as an out-of-network provider by design — so your care is dictated by your goals, not an insurance company's limitations. We provide a superbill after each visit that you can submit to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. Contact us or book a free discovery call to discuss your specific situation.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your initial evaluation is 75–90 minutes. Dr. Dan will take time to understand your history, goals, and how your body moves before any hands-on assessment begins. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's driving your symptoms and a personalized plan — not a generic handout.
Is dry needling part of the running gait analysis?
Dry needling is one of many treatment tools Dr. Dan may incorporate into your care plan based on your assessment findings. It is often paired with soft tissue mobilization and therapeutic exercise, but it is always individualized — never a default add-on.
What is the Resolve App and Open Gym access?
Every client receives a personalized daily program through the Resolve App, complete with exercise videos, reminders, and direct messaging access to Dr. Dan between sessions. Open Gym access 4 times per week gives you extra coaching, training, and accountability — well beyond what any traditional PT clinic offers.
