You Were Built to Run. Let's Make Sure You Can Keep Doing It β Stronger, Longer, and Pain-Free.
Most runners are stuck choosing between pushing through pain or being told to stop altogether. There's a better path β one that treats you like an athlete, not a patient.

In-person evaluations in Cherry Hill, NJ. Cash-pay. No referral needed.
You're not looking for someone to tell you to stop running.
You've probably already heard it:
"Just take a few months off.""Maybe running isn't for you anymore.""It's just wear and tear β that's what happens when you run."
So you rested. The pain came back the second you laced up. Or worse β you stayed off your feet, and now you don't feel like yourself. Sleep is off. Your stress has nowhere to go. The version of you that shows up to work, to your family, to your own life β that person runs.
Running isn't a hobby you can swap out for a stationary bike and call it even. It's how you think, how you reset, how you feel strong in your body. Losing it isn't a small thing. And nobody seems to be taking that seriously.
You don't need to be told to quit. You need someone who understands the assignment.

I'm a physical therapist who works with runners β every day, all day.
I've spent my career helping recreational runners, first-time marathoners, masters athletes, and competitive locals come back from injury and get faster than they were before. Not by handing out generic exercises. By looking at the whole runner β your training load, your strength, your gait, your sleep, your stress, your goals β and building a plan that actually fits.
Here's what I believe:
Running is one of the healthiest things you can do for your body and your mind.
Pain is information, not a stop sign.
Most "stop running" advice comes from clinicians who don't run and don't treat runners.
You deserve a plan, not a prescription.

Thatβs why we created Resolve to Run Assessment.
Here's exactly what we cover:
1. Your Story We sit down and talk. Your running history, current mileage, training goals, past injuries, what's flaring up now, what you've already tried, and what running means in your life. No rushed intake form β a real conversation.
2. Strength & Mobility Screen A head-to-toe look at the systems that matter most for runners: hip strength and control, single-leg stability, ankle mobility, calf endurance, core function, and big-toe range of motion. We measure β so we have a baseline to build from.
3. Running Gait Analysis Treadmill video capture from multiple angles. We look at cadence, foot strike, hip drop, knee position, trunk lean, and how your form holds up as you fatigue. You see the footage with me and we break down what's working and what's costing you.
4. Load Tolerance Testing Targeted tests using Vald Performance Technology to see how much load your tissues can actually handle right now. This is the data most clinics skip, and it's what tells us differences in strength, power, and force absorption between legs.
5. Your Plan You leave with a written plan that includes: a clear explanation of what's going on, a training load recommendation, 3β5 priority exercises, and the next steps β whether that's a rehab program, a performance block, or simply a check-in down the road.
No mystery. No "we'll see how it goes." A real roadmap.

The Cost of Not Acting
The longer you wait, the more it costs you.
Every week of guessing is another week of:
Compensations that turn one injury into two
Lost fitness that takes twice as long to rebuild
Mounting frustration, worse sleep, higher stress
Wondering if you'll ever feel like yourself again
You don't have to keep cycling through rest, flare-up, rest, flare-up. There's a way out β and it starts with actually knowing what's going on.

What Success Looks Like
Picture this:
You're running again β with a plan you trust and a body that's getting stronger every week. You know exactly what to do when something twinges. You're sleeping better. Your training has direction. You feel like an athlete again, not a patient.
That's the goal. That's what we build.
FAQ SECTION
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a doctor's referral? Nope. [State] is a direct-access state for physical therapy, which means you can see me without a referral. Just book and come in.
Do you take insurance? I'm a cash-pay clinic, which means no insurance middleman, no surprise bills, and no fighting over what's "covered." You get a full hour of one-on-one care β not 15 minutes shared with three other patients. I'm happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
I'm not injured β is this still for me? Yes, and honestly, this is one of the best times to come in. The Runner's Assessment is just as valuable for performance as it is for rehab. We'll find the limiters holding back your speed, durability, and efficiency before they turn into injuries.
What if I'm a brand-new runner? Even better. Getting a baseline now β strength, mobility, gait, load tolerance β sets you up to build mileage smartly instead of learning the hard way. Most running injuries happen in the first year. Let's skip that.
What should I wear and bring? Wear what you'd normally run in β shoes included. Bring any other shoes you rotate through. If you have a recent training log (Strava, Garmin, a notebook), that helps too.
How fast will I see results? Most runners feel a shift within the first 2β3 weeks of following the plan. Rebuilding tissue capacity, fixing strength deficits, and changing how you move take longer β usually 6β12 weeks for meaningful change. I'll give you a realistic timeline based on what we find, not a sales pitch.
What happens after the assessment? That's up to you. Some runners take the plan and run with it (literally) and check in every couple of months. Others want hands-on rehab or a structured performance program β I offer both, plus small group training for runners who want community and accountability. We'll figure out the right fit at the end of your assessment.
Is this just gait analysis? No. Gait analysis alone is one of the most over-sold services in running. Without strength data, load tolerance testing, and your training history, gait video is just a pretty video. We use all four together β that's what makes the assessment actually useful.
I've been to PT before and it didn't work. Why would this be different? Most PT clinics aren't built for runners. They give you a sheet of clamshells, see you for 20 minutes, and discharge you when your pain is gone β not when you're actually ready to run. I treat you like an athlete from day one, with the goal of getting you running better than before, not just pain-free on the couch.
