"My initial reason for seeking physical therapy was lower back pain. Dr. Dan helped me realize that my health journey was far beyond just fixing lower back pain. He developed a plan for me to first, be out of pain and second, to set short and long term goals for my health and wellness. Now that I am no longer in pain, I continue to work with Dr. Dan in group training sessions, which I love! This is the best investment I have made in myself!"

What Our Cherry Hill Clients Are Saying
Dr. Dan’s Story
I became a Physical Therapist so I could help people feel better, get back to sports after sustaining an injury, and fully participate in the activities they love.
As a high school and college athlete, I dealt with my fair share of injuries. During my junior year of college I found it difficult to participate in track and field due to pain. Though I spent a good amount of time in the training room receiving rehab, no real improvements were made and I unfortunately had to hang up my spikes sooner than I would have liked. I knew there had to be a better way.
After graduating from PT school, I worked in a variety of settings and with a wide variety of clients. I quickly realized that this profession has a huge opportunity to truly change people's lives, more than just returning them to sports, yet the healthcare system was not set up with the client’s best interest in mind.
This is why my wife Amanda and I created Resolve PT and Performance. To break the mold and provide a higher level of care to athletes, weekend worriers, and busy professionals who are constantly trying to balance work, life and fitness. We’re here for you.
I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University, Bachelors in Athletic Training from Springfield College, and am a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist.
Credentials
During my graduate studies I spent time rehabbing football athletes at the University of Georgia and worked as a per diem athletic trainer at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’ve taken my knowledge and experience from working with athletes in Division 1 and professional sports, as well as frameworks from the Postural Restoration Institute, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Dry Needling courses, and the Titleist Performance Institute to create individualized action plans THAT CHANGE AND IMPROVE LIVES.
Amanda’s Story
For as long as I can remember, movement has always been an important part of my life. I fell in love with dance at an early age and spent countless hours taking class, rehearsing, and performing. For me, dance provided exercise, an escape from everyday life, connection, and joy.
Now a mom of two young and active kids, movement looks a bit different these days. Our family enjoys dance parties in the kitchen, going on “scooter walks” and bike rides around the neighborhood, and trying out multiple sports and activities in order to figure out which ones the kiddos enjoy.
Though an educator by trade, I am really excited to partner with with Dan and help our community feel strong, empowered, and ready to fully participate in any activity they choose. Here at Resolve, you can find me working behind the scenes, greeting at the front desk, and strategizing how we can help as many people as possible live a pain free and active life. Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Frequently Asked Questions
We know choosing a physical therapist is a big decision. Here are answers to the most common questions we hear from new clients in Cherry Hill.
-

We are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not accept in-network insurance. Being out-of-network allows us to treat each client as a whole person and deliver the expert care that achieves real, lasting results. We provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance company to chip away at your deductible and potentially receive reimbursement. Many of our clients find that the superior outcomes and personalized attention are well worth the investment.
-

In-network providers are contracted with insurance companies, which means the insurance company dictates what the therapist can treat and how they can treat it. In-network clinicians often see multiple people each hour, which limits the one-on-one time you actually spend with your physical therapist. At Resolve, we value a client-centered approach. You'll spend your entire session with Dr. Dan, a highly skilled, board-certified specialist who takes the time to understand your history, lifestyle, and goals. This allows us to create a unique plan that fits your needs and achieves lasting results—not just short-term pain relief.
-

Your initial appointment is 75-90 minutes long. During this time, we'll perform a comprehensive assessment, hear about your history and goals, and create a personalized plan tailored to your needs. Each follow-up visit lasts approximately 60 minutes—and it's all one-on-one time with Dr. Dan. No shared appointments. No assistants. Just focused, expert care.
-

No, you do not need a prescription to start PT. New Jersey is a Direct Access state, which means you can seek out a physical therapy provider without having to see a physician first. You can schedule your free phone consultation directly with us and get started right away.
-

Please wear loose pants or shorts and a t-shirt to each appointment. This allows our therapists to easily access the areas that need support and ensures you're comfortable during hands-on treatment and movement assessments.
