Still Dealing With Ankle Pain After Months?
The Pain Keeps Returning
You rolled your ankle, rested it, and felt better — until it happened again. Recurring ankle sprains, Achilles tendinopathy, and chronic instability don't resolve on their own. Without addressing the root cause, you're stuck in a cycle of pain, rest, and repeat.
You're Being Held Back
Running, hiking, sports, even a walk around the block — ankle pain has quietly started to shrink your world. Every activity comes with hesitation, compensation, or fear of re-injury. That's no way to live for an active adult who refuses to slow down.
Generic PT Hasn't Worked
You've been to clinics where you wait, do the same exercises as everyone else, and see a different tech each visit. When care isn't personalized, results are inconsistent. Your ankle — and your goals — deserve a plan built specifically for you.
Cherry Hill's Performance-First Approach to Ankle PT
At Resolve PT, ankle pain treatment goes beyond reducing swelling. Dr. Dan Linick — a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist with Division I and professional sports experience — combines manual therapy, dry needling, neuromuscular re-education, and progressive strength training into a personalized plan delivered daily through the Resolve App. You're not just rehabbing. You're building a stronger, more resilient version of yourself.
Private 1-on-1 sessions — Dr. Dan never leaves your side, no techs, no double-booking
Personalized rehab plan updated daily via the Resolve App with direct messaging access to Dr. Dan
Open Gym access 4x per week for guided training between sessions
"Dan took the time to understand my issues and created a tailored rehab plan that focused on strengthening my ankle and improving my mobility. Thanks to their guidance, I'm back to running longer distances without pain and feeling more confident in my ankle's stability. My strength has improved overall, and I feel like a whole new athlete!"
Getting Back to Full Strength Is a 3-Step Process
Step 1: Your Comprehensive Evaluation
Your first visit with Dr. Dan is a deep dive — not a clipboard check. He'll assess your ankle mechanics, mobility, strength, movement patterns, and history to understand exactly why you're in pain and what's driving it. You'll leave with clarity, not guesswork.
Step 2: Your Personalized Recovery Plan
No templates, no shared programs. Dr. Dan builds a customized plan that blends manual therapy, dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and strength progressions — delivered daily through the Resolve App so you stay on track between sessions and can message Dr. Dan directly with any questions.
Step 3: Return to the Activities You Love
Recovery isn't the finish line — performance is. Using objective testing including Force Plate and VALD assessments, Dr. Dan tracks your progress and advances your program until you're not just pain-free, but stronger, more confident, and ready to do more than you did before.
Ankle & Foot Conditions We Treat at Resolve PT
Whether you're searching for ankle pain physical therapy near me or managing a long-standing injury that's kept you sidelined, Resolve PT treats the full spectrum of lower extremity conditions. Meet the Team Behind Your Recovery at Resolve PT
Dr. Dan’s Story
I became a Physical Therapist so I could help people feel better, get back to sports after sustaining an injury, and fully participate in the activities they love.
As a high school and college athlete, I dealt with my fair share of injuries. During my junior year of college I found it difficult to participate in track and field due to pain. Though I spent a good amount of time in the training room receiving rehab, no real improvements were made and I unfortunately had to hang up my spikes sooner than I would have liked. I knew there had to be a better way.
After graduating from PT school, I worked in a variety of settings and with a wide variety of clients. I quickly realized that this profession has a huge opportunity to truly change people's lives, more than just returning them to sports, yet the healthcare system was not set up with the client’s best interest in mind.
This is why my wife Amanda and I created Resolve PT and Performance. To break the mold and provide a higher level of care to athletes, weekend worriers, and busy professionals who are constantly trying to balance work, life and fitness. We’re here for you.
I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University, Bachelors in Athletic Training from Springfield College, and am a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist.
Credentials
During my graduate studies I spent time rehabbing football athletes at the University of Georgia and worked as a per diem athletic trainer at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’ve taken my knowledge and experience from working with athletes in Division 1 and professional sports, as well as frameworks from the Postural Restoration Institute, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Dry Needling courses, and the Titleist Performance Institute to create individualized action plans THAT CHANGE AND IMPROVE LIVES.
Amanda’s Story
For as long as I can remember, movement has always been an important part of my life. I fell in love with dance at an early age and spent countless hours taking class, rehearsing, and performing. For me, dance provided exercise, an escape from everyday life, connection, and joy.
Now a mom of two young and active kids, movement looks a bit different these days. Our family enjoys dance parties in the kitchen, going on “scooter walks” and bike rides around the neighborhood, and trying out multiple sports and activities in order to figure out which ones the kiddos enjoy.
Though an educator by trade, I am really excited to partner with with Dan and help our community feel strong, empowered, and ready to fully participate in any activity they choose. Here at Resolve, you can find me working behind the scenes, greeting at the front desk, and strategizing how we can help as many people as possible live a pain free and active life. Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Your Questions, Answered
Everything you need to know before your first visit to Resolve PT in Cherry Hill.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first visit is a comprehensive one-on-one evaluation with Dr. Dan. He'll assess your ankle mechanics, movement patterns, strength, and mobility to identify the root cause of your pain — not just the symptoms. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on and a personalized plan to address it.
How is Resolve PT different from other clinics?
Every session at Resolve is private and one-on-one — Dr. Dan never leaves your side. No shared gym floors, no rotating assistants, no 10-minute check-ins. You also receive a personalized daily program delivered through the Resolve App with direct messaging access to Dr. Dan between sessions, plus Open Gym access four times per week.
How long does ankle pain recovery take?
Recovery timelines vary depending on the severity of your injury, your history, and your goals. Many clients experience meaningful improvement within 4–8 weeks of consistent care. Dr. Dan uses objective testing — including Force Plate and VALD assessments — to track your progress and adjust your program so you're always moving forward.
Can you help me return to running after an ankle injury?
Absolutely. Return to running is one of our core outcomes at Resolve PT. Dr. Dan combines ankle rehabilitation with Running Gait Analysis and progressive strength and conditioning to help you return to running safely — and often stronger than before your injury.
Do I need a referral to start physical therapy in New Jersey?
New Jersey allows direct access to physical therapy, which means you do not need a physician referral to begin care at Resolve PT. You can book a free discovery call to get started right away.
